Many thanks for visiting the Canvins web site. A local family in the village of Deanshanger Northants this is just a site showing our latest events and other things we get up to. My Hobbies include keeping fit, Taking photos and movies and Mountain biking. We also get out walking and spend a lot of our time in National trust properties and park land. The events section will show family events including Birthdays etc, also you will find trips out in here. Our walks will show some of our treks through some of the Uk.'s most beautiful places including the Lake District, Peak District and to the top of the highest peaks in England, Scotland and wales.

Bourne End to Henley-Upon-Thames along the Thames Path.

A great walk along the River Thames path this time from Bourne End to Henley-Upon-Thames. This walk was about 12 miles long on nice flat ground with plenty to look at in some great Towns and Villages, also has easy transport links to get you to the start.

Olney Runners – Squeaky Bone relay race

A great turn out of the MBUK runners – Stewart, Danny, MItch,  & Jules run the very muddy 3.5 mile cross-country course in a time of 01:52:13 making us 34th out of 124th.

A Holiday into Croatia, Bosnia & Montenegro September 2017

A fantastic weeks Holiday in some great countryside, from Massive Mountains to walled ancient cities high in the hills. Some Fantastic Seafood all washed down with plenty of Wine and Beer in some great restaurants. I would recommend this place to anybody please have a look at the posts below to view the various trips we made.

We recently visited the Steam fair located near to the village of Blanford Forum in Dorset. The fair is in its 49th year and covers over 600 acres and is one of Europes largest events, over 200,000 visitors are expected to attend

Bourne End to Windsor along the River Thames 19th August

Another section completed along the banks of the Thames river, this time from the royal city of Windsor to Bourne end. We parked the car in Bourne end train station costing just £2 on a Saturday , then we got the train to Windsor. You will need to change train twice on the journey one at Maidenhead and again at slough before arriving at Windsor & Eton central
