Heath & Reach Walk and a trip again along the Canal
10.1 Miles : total ascent 836ft : Time 04hr 8min

We used the Greensand ridge walk, that took us towards the Grand Union canal near Old linslade manor, this is a Grade ii listed building however i think its now been converted into Flats. The walk along the grand union took us to a couple of excellent Ale houses, I have given these pubs a bit on my site because they looked nice and i have heard that the food is excellent. We finally come off the Canal near the village of Stoke Hammond and headed towards Papermill farm and up Partridge Hill. The final walk took us through Oak wood and then finally back home. It was not a bad walk and the weather was great and the tracks dry. Try the walk with a stop at the following pubs below for added enjoyment.

Globe Inn, Linslade, Beds. This was a nice looking pub, the bar menu also looks good and a revisit will be done very shortly. Please click this link for the website.
The Grand Union at the three locks. Again nice pub with what looked like a great food menu. Please click this link for the website.
What wildlife to look out for on the trip.
