A nice trip down to London for some shopping and a trip to the royal academy to see a expo by the 60,s surrealist artist Allen Jones. It was all very exciting because we took a bus from the village costing a rip off 3.75 each and then a virgin train from Central Milton Keynes to London Euston station costing 39 pound that included a tube ticket all Zones, What a swiz on here as we never got a seat going or coming back. The first point of call was some shops for gail Liberty of London was first i liked that a little bit and got some nice stuff in there must be getting old spent 18 pound on some xmas decorations . Then we set off for Hamleys where i could stay all day toys toys and more toys , i got a couple of board games for the kids "operation" and the classic Kerplunk. Then after some lunch in the coach and horses where we waited a lifetime for the food, and also a smelly drunk come in asking for cash - we left without leaving a tip ba-humbug. Then to the RA for a expo that would test gail to the limits, within ten minutes she said it was crap however she went and i m very glad. I thought it was good and well worth the time spent and the art was very good and in its day must have caused a lot of sensation indeed. His work was very sexist and erotic with ladies in scantily clad rubber PVC "nice". the night was finished off with a walk along the Thames, London by night is indeed the best i have seen in any city. trips to the London eye and Trafalgar square are worth it for a great night out, all in all a good day out.
